Yes, we meet on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at Kountry Folks Homestyle Restaurant at 3653 La Sierra Ave in Riverside. Dinner at 6, meeting at 7
We try to keep costs to a minimum. Sometimes we need to charge for food, the venues we use, campground fees, and/or training materials. We have top notch, qualified and experienced trainers who offer their services to the BCHC
Absolutely!!! Once you become a member of BCHC you are welcome in any of California's 22 units, and in fact any of the Backcountry Horsemen Units around America
Suprisingly, we hear this question a lot. No, you do not have to own a horse. Other members may offer their horses to use for those who do not have one.
This question has to be answered on a situation basis. We have two 'open' rides a year where non-members are encouraged to participate. Other than those rides, non-member riders are not encouraged to participate in scheduled rides.
